Sculpture Install

Well it is finally ready.  The first in my urban edition installs.  I learned a lot from this, but it is up and only the beginning.

The aftermath, with a whole lot of clean up.

Things I learned:

Scout the area first, build for it. Build ready to install.  Too much time spent prepping area. Better construction on base.

Nice thing I found on the way home, time to start another one. Three full pallets made out of really nice wood.

Guam Prep.

Well it is that time of year when I am off to Guam.  This year’s military trip is going to be different.  Taking cameras, plexus plates, gels plates, and Akua inks.  I am going to try and capture the island artistically.  Right now just prepping the plates.

I...

Off on an adventure!

Getting ready to head out over the river and through the woods to Grandmother’s house, I stopped by our local pie artisan.  Beth’s Artisan Pies, in Carrollton right off the Bush Toll road and Josey Lane. These pies are all handmade, everything.  Amazingly delicious!  This time we got the traditional Pumpkin and Pecan.  If you...

Last day TAEA.

Well it has been a great conference where I was able to connect and reconnect with many different people.  Feeling revived!!  Cassie Stevens is Amazing.

Best quote…when you are getting beat down by others and feeling bad about yourself…

“Why do you give a shit.”

I love this speaker.
