Guam Day 2 Continued

Well there was just too much going on to leave it to one post so I am splitting this off into a second. After my excursion around the island I hooked back up with some of my unit and we took one of the new guys on a jungle tour. This is commonly known as a “boonie stomp”. It was decided that we were going to hit Pagat Caves, because of its fresh water swimming areas. However, we did not have lights and I had forgotten that some areas are very dark before you hit the waters. We ventured on to a smaller one that is easier to access.
Afterwards we hiked the rest of the way down to the ocean. The ground is made up of old volcanic rock. Very sharp and very rough.
