Another Busy Week

Well, made it another week. Definitely chocked full of things that needed to get done. First off, got more involved with the coaching gig. Getting all the field equipment ready for the Friday home game was very taxing. I had no idea how much equipment and time goes into planning one game. I have a whole lot of respect for high school coaches now. It was definitely well worth it.
As the week continued I was fortunate enough to be invited to do a screen print demo for middle school art on Wednesday and then return on Thursday for high school. We printed the art shirts for both groups. It was a great learning experience for everyone. I was able to really push the boundaries of my small table top press.
During the week I also got to work on my new lithograph stones. Finally getting the method of photo transfer down. Ready to print first part next week. Hoping to have this piece ready for the fall show.
Finally reaching Friday’s pep rally and game day. This is my daughter sneaking in a pie to the face on the head coach, Action Jackson.
Game night was a little stressful because I had never set up a football field before. Let me tell you 6 man is a little bit different game but still great fun. I had a lot of help from the rest of the coaches. They are extremely patient and great at training new people. We won final score 48 to 0.
Finally on Sunday I decided to finish up a honeydo by attacking the sidewalk and completing the concrete pour. It is done and so am I.

5th Oct 2017 - 5:32 pmWow, Che, I’m exhausted reading about your schedule.
I would have loved to watch the screen printing demo and the lithograph printing.
I wanted one more picture–the photo after the pie in the face. Sounds like fun.
About that sidewalk–I’ve been wanted one on the side of the house.
I enjoyed your blog.

I’m exhausted reading about your week. I’d ask you to come do some concrete work here, but I’m betting you’re too busy. 🙂
I can’t wait to see the stone prints. The one in your hand looks fabulous.
